Dr. M V Muraleedharan

Dr. M V Muraleedharan is a distinguished and highly experienced Endocrinologist from Thrissur city in Kerala state. Since the inception of his medical career in 1972, Dr. Muraleedharan has spent over four decades in his field of speciality.

Dr. Muraleedharan has completed his medical education from prominent medical institutions. It can be summarized as follows: MBBS from Calicut Medical College, MD from Medical College (Trivandrum) and DM from PGIMER (Chandigarh). Besides this, he also has achieved Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP), a postgraduate medical diploma in the United Kingdom (UK).

Dr. Muraleedharan has won many honours and awards in his academic and professional domain. His list of awards include: Best Outgoing Medical Student-Kerala State, Gold Medal in Surgery and Community Medicine, Presidential Oration - Endocrine Society of India, Tirupati and a few others more. Dr. Muraleedharan is the present President of IMA (Trichur) and RSSDI (Kerala Chapter). He also is an important member of the Editorial Board, Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism through which he has made some very significant contributions.

After spending an extensive period at Government Medical College in Trichur, Dr. Muraleedharan retired as the Professor and HOD Medicine in April 2001. Presently he is fulfilling teaching responsibilities at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi as a Professor of Endocrinology.

Apart from teaching activities, Dr. Muraleedharan practises at Lakshmee Krishna, Thrissur where he provides assistance and medical care to patients with endocrine disorders to help them manage their condition effectively.
